Discover Kaimax, presented as a white or light-yellow dried powder in a colorless and clear glass vial. When diluted with normal saline, it transforms into a colorless transparent or light-yellow liquid.

[INDICATIONS AND USAGE]

Kaimax (botulinum toxin type A for injection) is indicated for the temporary improvement in the appearance of moderate to severe glabellar lines associated with corrugator muscle and/or procerus muscle activity in adult patients aged 19 to 65 years.

[DOSAGE AND ADMINISTRATION]

PREPARATION AND DILUTION METHODS: Dilute to 100U/2.5ml (4U/0.1 ml) with sterile, preservative-free 0.9% sodium chloride injection.

Dilution Method:

Reconstitute each vial of Kaimax with sterile, preservative-free saline. The recommended diluent is 0.9% sodium chloride injection. Slowly inject the diluent into the vial to prevent denaturation. Discard the vial if not filled in a vacuum condition. Note the dissolution date and time on the label, ensuring administration within 24 hours. Store reconstituted Kaimax in a refrigerator at 2-8°C. The dissolved solution should be colorless, transparent, and free from foreign substances. Prior to administration, check parenteral formulations for foreign substances and discoloration. For patient safety, avoid using one vial for multiple patients, as Kaimax and its diluent contain no preservatives.
